Hobbs Kessler is an American track and field athlete who specializes in middle distance running, particularly the 1500m and mile races. He was born on April 28, 2001 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Kessler gained national attention in 2021 when he broke the American U20 indoor mile record with a time of 3:57.66, becoming the first American teenager to break the four-minute barrier indoors. He has also set several other national records for his age group in various middle distance events.
Kessler is currently a student-athlete at Northern Arizona University, where he competes for the track and field team. He has aspirations of representing the United States on the international stage and competing in major events such as the Olympics.
